Lakeside 25th Birthday Event

I was kindly invited to intu Lakeside shopping centre to celebrate their 25th birthday with them. I was so excited as I knew it was going to be a fun filled evening and I was so happy to be apart of Lakeside’s first ever blogger event.

I met up with Lauren and Rachel from theflowerthatblooms beforehand and we headed to the 360 Champagne Lounge, where the event was taking place, where we were greeted by a glass of prosecco and the cutest little bag of sweets. After having plenty of time to mingle with old blogging friends and meeting new ones, we sat down and were told all about the new A/W trends to look out for in the stores, which made me so excited to go shopping haha.

We then had even more time to get to know each other before cocktail making. We could pick whatever cocktail we wanted from the menu and then we had the cocktails made for us; I opted to try something new so I went for a cosmopolitan (yes, I’m 22 and never had a cosmo) and it was delicious. While sipping on our cocktails, we were given a master class from Urban Decay, which was probably the best part of the night for me. It was so much fun learning about all the different UD products and how to create the best neutral smokey eye look.

The event was so much fun and it was great to see some familiar faces as well as meeting new ones and I can’t wait for the next Lakeside event!
