Lush Creative Showcase 2016

For the first time ever (sorry if you now have Frozen stuck in your head) Lush opened up the annual creative showcase to the public and being the obsessed Lush lover that I am, I of course got tickets to go.

The event was held over two days; the 13th and 14th September at Tobacco Dock in East London and it was honestly the most amazing thing. As you walked around there was Lush products left, right and centre from bath bombs, perfumes and skin care. Some of the rooms were designed and decorated to showcase a scent and others homed new bath products and information on the Lush Spa treatments.

In one of the many courtyards, and probably my favourite display; was a massive bath tub surrounded by smaller bath tubs that were surrounded by bath bombs and bubble bars which included the new Halloween and Christmas collections. The event also had an exclusive bath bomb called Metamorphosis which could only be bought at the showcase; which was placed pretty much everywhere. (I did end up buying two)

I know its still probably a bit too early to mention the C word but the Christmas market room was definitely another highlight. I love Christmas, so seeing the whole collection and having my favourite festive song – Chris Rea’s Driving Home For Christmas blaring, I couldn’t help but get excited. I can’t wait to get my hands on the newest Christmas bits, Ruby Red Slipper is probably going to be my new favourite ; seeing as they have discontinued Holly GoLightly (cue all the tears).

Being a beauty blogger, I had to go and see all the makeup that Lush had on show and I didn’t actually realise just how much there was. They had everything from eyeshadows to some exciting new bits including foundations and powders. Yes, Lush are bringing out Foundations and we were kindly allowed to take home so sample pots to test, if we could find our shade; so expect a review coming up in the next few weeks.

The event was so well organised with each room showcasing a different range of products and all of the staff and people working the event were so lovely and helpful and couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the products. I had the best day and already can’t wait for next years.
