2. Police Watch – House of Fraser
3. Ted Baker Wallet – John Lewis
4. Check Short Pyjama Set – Matalan
Welcome to Blogmas day 9. Now I am the biggest Christmas fan but it sometimes can take me a while to get into the festive mood so I was thinking of some ways that I get myself feeling all Christmassy.
1. Putting on all the films
The quickest way to get into the mood is to put on Christmas films. You can’t help but be filled with joy when you watch them.
2. Visit Christmas themed locations
I absolutely love exploring London at Christmas time, it’s so magical and pretty. I am determined to see the Tiffany and Co themed tree at St. Pancreas station, walk around covent garden and visit Winter Wonderland this year and I know it will give me all of the Christmas spirit.
3. Put up Christmas decoration
Putting up the Christmas decorations, especially the tree is always a massive highlight for me and one of the things I look forward to the most. My parents don’t like to put them up too early so you know if my house has them up, Christmas is right around the corner so you can’t help but get excited.
I think the stress of Christmas as the act of buying gifts for people really does take away from the excitement. Sometimes, you just need to stop and slow down to appreciate the time of year and all the joy it brings.
How do you get into the Christmas spirit?

Blogmas day 8 is here and it’s all about the perfect red lipsticks
I get so excited to start bringing out the dark red/berry lip colours as soon as the weather gets a bit colder; I just feel like they complete any winter outfit. I was having a sort out of my lipsticks and had to share my ‘go to’ winter shades!
Rimmel London – Kate Moss 107
Rimmel London – Kate Moss 37
Rimmel London – Kate Moss 30
Avon – Red 2000
What are your favourite Winter lipsticks?
Is there anything better than Christmas music? I don’t think so! So today, for Blogmas day 7, I am going to be sharing some of my favourite Christmas songs.
Mistletoe – Justin Bieber
Does this song need an explanation? I am not the biggest Justin Bieber fan (forgetting the fact I have seen him live 3 times) but Mistletoe is an absolute classic when it comes to Christmas and this time of year. It needs to be turned up as long as possible.
Last Christmas – Wham!
One of my favourite festive songs. It’s just so catchy and I just can’t help but sing along.
All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey
I mean arguably THE ultimate Christmas song right.
Driving Home For Christmas – Chris Rea
This is definitely such an underrated song that no one really appreciates. It’s just so beautiful, I used to always listen to it on Christmas Ever when I was driving home from work because I was literally driving home for Christmas
Baby It’s Cold Outside – Michael Buble & Idina Menzel
This song always makes me think of that scene in Elf and gives me the ultimate Christmas feels. Nothing better than having to sing both the male and female parts together.
Blogmas Day 6 – this posting everyday thing is going well. So I love stocking fillers and have been looking for some affordable ones to treat my friends and family with.
1. The Little Book of The Zodiac – Topshop £6.99
2. Gold Metallic Pop The Bubbly Slogan Prosecco Flute – New Look £6.99
3. Champagne Bubble Fizzer Set – Boohoo £ 6.40
4. Christmas Holly Socks – Topshop £3.50
5. Sweet Christmas Gift Set – Lush £9.95
Welcome to Blogmas day 5! I have been thinking of doing Blogmas for ages because I just love Christmas so heres why Christmas is my favourite time of year
1. Family Times
I have grown up in a very close family and I love being able to spend time with them all. We now have 2 babies in the family so it’s the perfect time to all get together and make some special memories
I know the thought of Christmas shopping can be stressful and overwhelming but in general I find that Christmas is such a happy time full of love. Every thing is so cosy and warm. Such a special time
3. Spoiling people
Now I don’t believe that the real meaning of Christmas is gift giving but I love nothing more than spoiling the people I love. I mean, I’m the kind of person that will happily buy someone they love something at any point of the year. I just love showing people how much they really mean to me
I love everything cliche about Christmas; from the cosy nights in with blankets, hot chocolate and fairy lights to walking around Christmas markets and winter wonderland with mulled wine
Welcome to Blogmas day 4! Today I have found a Christmas tag which I thought would be perfect!
1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?
Favourite Christmas movies are definitely Elf and The Grinch. You can read more about my favourite Christmas movies here
2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
I don’t understand why people open some on Christmas Ever, you have to save them all for the morning
3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Definitely spending Christmas in Lapland meeting Santa
4. Favourite festive food?
It’s got to be Mince Pies; I am actually eating one while I write this. Also – this is the most unpopular opinion but I don’t like pigs in blankets
5. Favourite Christmas gift?
Oh, definitely my first mobile phone
6. Favourite Christmas scent?
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
I do! You can actually read all about them here 😉
8. What tops your tree?
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I always used to ask for Baby Anabelle’s; the ones that would cry and make noises but of course my parents were smart and couldn’t be dealing with the sounds
10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
Here we go, the most cliche answer but just spending time with family and loved ones, there really is nothing better
Welcome to Blogmas day 3! Today I am here to talk about my Christmas traditions.
1. New Pyjamas
Every year, my mum and dad buys us all a brand new set of pjs to wear on Christmas Eve. This is something that I have always done and I love it; even though my mum now thinks that we are too old. I love getting new pjs anyway but there is something extra special about Christmas ones. This year I have decided I want classic pink and white stripes with my initials embroided on them.
2. Christmas Films
While sitting in our new pjs, me and my sister will sit and watch a few Christmas films. We used to watch the same Disney ones every year but we now like to switch it up and watch a few different ones. You can see a list of my favourite Christmas films here.
3. The Zoo
For the last few years, I haven’t done this one as much but every year, the four of us would spend Christmas Eve at the zoo. We would walk around and see all the animals and then we would go to meet Santa. It was something that I looked forward too every year, I really need to bring it back.
4. Nan and Grandad’s
Every Christmas morning, me and my mums side of the family would all go to my nan and grandad’s to spend some time together. My grandad would sit in a chair in the middle of the living room and give out everyones presents.
What are your Christmas traditions?

It was recently my boyfriend’s birthday and what better way to celebrate than with a trip to Paris. I mean as they say ‘Paris is always a good idea’.
I have been to Paris before but this was Jack’s first time so I was so excited for show him around.
We took the Eurostar and arrived at around 2pm on Saturday. Luckily our hotel was only about a 15 minute walk from Gare du Nord so it didn’t take us long to get checked in and get rid of our bags. The hotel was absolutely perfect! It was decorated with monochome wallpaper with splashes of bright colours in the form of pillows and curtains.
After a quick freshen up, we took a short 20 minute metro ride to the Eiffel Tower because where else would you go to first? I forgot just how beautiful the Eiffel Tower is and I felt so happy to be back. After a good photo session, we headed to a small bistro for a spot of lunch before planning our next stop, Arc de Triomph. There was a little bit of construction work so the photos aren’t great but it was still beautiful nonetheless. The Arc is the start of Champs Elysees so we took a little wonder and did some window shopping before heading to a bar for a few drinks and then on to dinner. On the way back to the hotel, we saw the Eiffel Tour as it was all lit up and sparkly. This is one of my favourite sights in Paris and even though we only saw the top, it was still stunning.
Day 2 started pretty early because we were heading home in the evening so we wanted to get the most out of our day. It was hard because the bed was so comfy, I had to pry myself out! We started by having a stroll towards Le Louvre where we stopped for a spot of breakfast and the most amazing hot chocolate I have ever had. Honestly, I am still thinking about it. We were going to go into Le Louvre but the queue was so long so we took a stroll along the Seine towards Notre Dame, somewhere that I had never been before. As we arrived, the bells were ringing and I instantly got all the Disney vibes and thought of Quasemodo. It was also at this point that I realised I had lost a glove which was the saddest thing because it was so cold.
We headed back over towards Champs Elysees and stopped off at the petite palais for another hot chocolate and some macaroons and to warm ourselves up. It was so beautiful and the pieces of art they had there were incredible. Now, no trip to Paris is complete without some shopping and I took full advantage of the Sephora there, who else loves their sheet masks?!
While making our way back to the hotel to pick up our suitcases, we stopped off for some dinner which was so bitter sweet because it was lovely to find another bistro tucked away down some quiet side road but it also meant that it was nearly time to head to the station to get home.
We arrived back in London at about 9pm on Sunday and to say I was sad to be home was definitely an understatement. We both had the most amazing time and I was so glad to celebrate Jack’s birthday in one of the prettiest cities. We are so desperate to go back and will definiely make sure we stay for longer.
Have you ever been to Paris?
