Blogmas Day 24| Merry Christmas

Wow! The end of blogmas; it’s always such a bittersweet time but I loved every minute of it! I am currently sitting in my new Christmas PJs watching Elf thinking about how grateful I am to every single person who has read my blog and interacted with me in some way. I think you are all great and want to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Blogmas Day 23| My Christmas Wishlist

I can’t believe there are 2 days left to go until Christmas Day, the whole of December has flown by! Today I’d thought I’d share my Wishlist which isn’t much of a list but here goes!

Foreo Luna 3 – I have seen these being promoted by a lot of influencers and bloggers and I am so intrigued to give it a go. I often feel like my make up never really removes and I do suffer from dry skin so this looks like it will do wonders for me

Kate Spade Pink Bag – I have been lusting over a Kate Spade bag for so long now and this is honestly the bag of dreams. I usually gravitate towards a black bag to go with everything but I want a few brighter colours to add a pop of colour. Look how dreamy it is

Pandora Ring – I love Pandora jewellery and have been eyeing up this ring for quite a while, I look it looks so dainty and girly

Blogmas Day 21| A Letter to 2019

Dear 2019,

Where to begin; I guess all I can really say is thank you. Thank you for allowing me to travel and explore the world with some of my favourite people. I have made so many new memories that I will look back on with so much happiness; even the time I got food poisoning in Lisbon.

Thank you for highlighting how important my own happiness is and that I am/should be the only person that has control over that. This one we are still learning but we’re getting there. Thank you for all of the opportunities to grow and develop both personally and professionally.

Thank you for allowing me to follow my love for blogging and digital content. I have met and continue to meet so many people and it’s a world that I am so grateful to be a part of

Of course, there has been a few lows which I’m still struggling to deal with, especially the loss of my best friend in the world, my Grandad but I’ve ended the year surrounded by people I love and I’m about to spend the end of the year with my family in Lapland; somewhere that is so special to us! I am so excited for 2020 and all that it has in store. I’m determined to make it my roaring 20’s so stay tuned!

Love,

Hannah xx

Blogmas Day 20| Favourite Christmas Songs

If it was acceptable to listen to Christmas music all year, I definitely would. Here are some of my favourite Christmas songs.

lee-campbell-QVnw_3l_n0Y-unsplash

Mistletoe – Justin Bieber
Does this song need an explanation? I am not the biggest Justin Bieber fan (forgetting the fact I have seen him live 3 times) but Mistletoe is an absolute classic when it comes to Christmas and this time of year. It needs to be turned up as long as possible.

Last Christmas – Wham!
One of my favourite festive songs. It’s just so catchy and I just can’t help but sing along.

All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey
I mean arguably THE ultimate Christmas song right.

Driving Home For Christmas – Chris Rea
This is definitely such an underrated song that no one really appreciates. It’s just so beautiful, I used to always listen to it on Christmas Ever when I was driving home from work because I was literally driving home for Christmas

Baby It’s Cold Outside – Michael Buble & Idina Menzel
This song always makes me think of that scene in Elf and gives me the ultimate Christmas feels. Nothing better than having to sing both the male and female parts together.

Blogmas Day 19 | Christmas in London

I love living in London, especially this time of year because the city is full of pretty fairy light and it’s just a great atmosphere. I also think there is so much to do like Winter Wonderland, ice skating and Christmas Markets.

Every year I make it my mission to walk around Covent Garden and see the big tree because it always makes me feel the most festive

Have you ever visited London at Christmas time?

Blogmas Day 18| Christmas Traditions

I love hearing other people’s Christmas traditions, so I thought I’d share mine with you

1. New pyjamas

I thought I’d start off with my favourite one and that is getting my pyjamas Evey year to wear of Christmas Eve. My parents try and tell me and my sister that we are too old for it now but honestly, that is what I look forward too the most (aside from the food)

2. Beach walks on boxing day

This is something we used to do when we were kids and we recently bought it back last year. There is something so peaceful about a crisp walk along the sea front breathing in the salty air

3. Winter Wonderland

I can’t get through the festive period without going to winter wonderland at least once, it’s just such a good atmosphere and makes me feel so festive. Me and Jack have already planned a few visits

Blogmas Day 17| Festive Date Night Ideas

I love a date night and if I can make them Chrsitmassy I will (sorry Jack haha) Here’s a few of my favourite festive date night ideas

rebecca-wiggins-SnSvmvUpQpU-unsplash

Cosy night in with Christmas films – I love a cosy date night, wrapped in blankets with snack and films so why not make the films Christmas themed! I mean that to me sounds like the perfect combination

Dinner – Dinners out are always fun and most restaurants have Christmas decorations to help get you in the festive mood. To make it extra Christmassy, go somewhere that offers a roast dinner/festive menu

Christmas Markets / Winter Wonderland – I love going to Winter Wonderland in Hyde park and try to go at least once a year. It can get pretty busy but I personally love walking around with a mulled wine listening to all of the Christmas songs and seeing what items people are selling on their stalls

Blogmas Day 16| Favourite Christmas Memories

I love thinking back to Christmas’ past, on all the love and good times and I wanted to share some of those with you today. Also, how are we already on day 16!

The Zoo – Every Christmas Eve; me, my parents and sister would go to the zoo for the day and I used to love it. It was always such an exciting day, leaving early and heading down to explore and see all of the animals and to see Santa! It’s something that I looked forward to every year and I do actually miss it. We would then go to mass at the local church which really bought on the festive spirit because it was usually a children’s nativity.

Grandad as Santa – Every Christmas morning I would go to my nan and grandads with all my aunts and cousins on my mums side of the family and I loved it. My grandad would always sit in a chair in the middle of the room and call out peoples names for presents, it was always such a big deal but it was so so special

Blogmas Day 15| My favourite blogmas’

I love being part of Blogmas and ready everyones posts. Here are a few of my favourites:

Rachael – I love seeing what she is getting up to with her kids and how they are all getting ready for Christmas. Her posts always make me feel so cosy

Charlotte – Another one of my favourites! I especially loved ready about her Christmassy weekend in London

Lisa Maria – I love Lisa Maria’s content, its so well written and the Christmas bucket list post has been my favourite so far!

Blogmas Day 14|Winter Skincare Staples

My skin is naturally quite dry so this time of year is a nightmare for me because I have to work extra hard to keep my skin feeling soft and not like a snake skin. I try to keep my skincare routine as simple as possible so here’s what I’ve been loving this season.

00100lportrait_00100_burst20191109123326491_cover.jpg

This one is no surprise if you’ve been reading my log for a while now. I am obsessed with the hot cloth cleaner from Lacura! Honestly, it is on par with Liz Earle’s cleanse and polish and always leaves my skin feeling so clean and soft. I use this everyday as it’s so gentle and doesn’t aggravate my skin.

Face masks, face masks. I love a good sheet mask so always make sure I have a good stock pile to keep me going. I use these about once a week for a treat and to make sure my skin has extra hydration. My all time favourites are the Sephora ones.
